Recent design projects using these capabilities include the refurbishment of bespoke cables for the CERN Hadron Collider with EMC shielding and radiation proofing; woven ribbon cables for a boom arm within a nuclear power station which required a flexible cable for complex routing coupled with rugged attributes; and the design and manufacture of cable assemblies for a helicopter wing ice protection system, requiring temperature resilience, vibration resistance, flexibility and chemical proofing.
