Our uniquely developed elastomer encapsulation solution, Teksol, has been known to remain intact even when the application itself has been damaged. Designed to be lightweight, resistant to oils and fuels, and highly flexible, it guarantees high performance and durability for critical cable assemblies operating in extreme environments.
Where space and weight are critical take advantage of our innovative space-saving solutions including custom woven ribbon cables. These are lightweight, flexible, and manufactured in a flat, compact format. The ability to weave wire as small as .1mm in diameter allows us to build 100 wires into an assembly measuring just 25.4mm by .6mm with increased tensile strength.
If space is at a premium, Computaweave provides all the benefits of a flat woven cable yet allows for neat and repeatable branch-outs. Suitable for numerous applications, design parameters can include a range of power, signal, thermocouple, and coax cables, alongside EMI/RFI shielding.

Performance, size, weight, and durability in harsh environments are the key challenges we tackle when designing systems for the defence sector. For example, when avionic engineering teams faced potential failure in the Eurofighter Typhoon's navigation system, we used our specialist woven cable assemblies to fit a large number of wires in a short cable run, combined with overmoulding for an undulating finish to fit around other components and eradicate radar failure.
Prioritising environmental resistance and performance, we designed and built a communication system deployed by the British Army to enable transmission between soldiers in the field and central operations. The finished assembly totalled 109 metres in length with bespoke back shells designed by Alpha 3 to utilise the available space.
To facilitate easy communication on the battlefield, we have produced various cable assemblies for radio systems, from body-worn antennas to vehicle charging and docking stations. Supporting the development of the SquadNet radio, we incorporated EMC shielding and overmoulding to guarantee uninterrupted communications and durablility, enabling infantry to place their trust in the equipment when it is needed most.
